Pain Management
Acupuncture analgesia activates the endogenous opioid peptide system and
thereby influences the body's pain regulatory system by changing the processing and
perceptions of noxious information at various levels of CNS.
MUSCULOSKELETAL PAIN,
ACUTE
(very responsive to acupuncture)
Soft tissue confusion, Acute muscle spasm, Musculotendinous sprains and
strains, Nerve entrapment radiculopatheis
CHRONIC PAIN

secondary approach. Many patients who did not responded to medications nor physical

Autonomic dysregulation disorders - may manifest as anxiety, sleep
disturbances, bowell dysfunction.
Immune dysregulations: recurrent infections and inflammatory states
without underlying frank immunodeficiency etc.
Recurrent viral illnesses, bronchitis, sinusitis, gastroenteritis
Mental and Emotional Disturbances;
Acupuncture works well in
early / acute emotional states of anxiety, worry, fearful states, early stages of
depression as a primary therapy
